Mercuryfx is a browser-based online forex trading platform built on an open technology platform with rich functionalities primarily catering to corporate and retail foreign exchange dealing with requirements of banks and money changers. The objective of Mercuryfx is to act as a Unified Fx Reporting system which acts as a single middle ware between treasury and trade finance. This enables the client organizations to improve efficiency by reducing reconciliation efforts, reduce operational risk by squaring positions, scale up volumes and increase profitability of customer forex business with proper accountability and risk monitoring. Mercuryfx supports products including outright foreign exchange, forwards, inward/outward remittances, foreign exchange Loans and deposits, currency notes, store value cards. |

Credence collaborated with IBM® Innovation Center for performance testing of Mercuryfx Solution. The environment was setup for 5,000(ETPH) and 10,000 (ETPH) load for various transaction loads related to Forex and Merchant Bills. The applications was on IBM P520 Power System servers with native operating system AIX ® 6.1 along with Web Sphere 6.1 Network Deployment & Oracle 10g on IBM P550 Power System servers. The key objective of the performance testing was to demonstrate and measure the ability of the solution to seamlessly scale up to handle the ever growing transaction volumes efficiently and cost effectively. This exercise has benefited in terms of product's performance achievement and hardware sizing which can be shared with customers. This has helped the product in becoming a conspicuous selling tool in the market. |
